Gyros & More - Tecumseh

Mega props to Gyros & More on University for Friday's dinner.

Typical gyro diner with generic wraps. The best thing about this place is their Greek style fries. OK if you are in a hurry and want a fast meal.

The ladies there are wonderful..always greet you with a big hello and smiles......super friendly..welcome you to their restaurant... Service is quick and food is fresh and hot.. Prices are very reasonable...Plenty of food..gyros are filled to the max....great place....

Hello again, I have tried Gyro's & more at 301 Tecumseh road east and this location at 13418 Tecumseh Rd E, Tecumseh, and for some reason the gyro's are much better at the 13418 Tecumseh Rd E, Tecumseh, Ontario location. We did try their gyros, coleslaw, fries and chicken pita/gyro, and baklava, every thing was great except...the chicken pita, it was dry. I hate eating dry meat when the whole rack of chicken on the rotisserie looked so good! I called it the chicken pity, too bad! I will be back again for their awesome gyro tho, and I will mention to the workers that last time their chicken wasnt what I expected, and I will try it again to make sure, only because their other foods are so good. Worth the drive, great value, their baklava was good too, but if there was a deal for more than one they would sell more of it, I paid $5 for two good size pieces, most customers look for a deal when they buy a few if not more sweets. All in all, a good clean place with great food at a reasonable price! My friend and I were both satisfied!

I had a chicken gyros combination lunch ordered by takeout. A friend and I had recently been to Mykonos, and we agreed that our lunch could have been one of those that we had 'in the old country". The chicken was tender, the tzatziki flavourful, the fries crisp and lightly salted. We ate on a patio deck overlooking Lake St. Clair on an autumn afternoon. I am looking forward to a repeat.
