Bidra med feedbackWe made a reservation in advance for our party of four adults and three children, and the perfect table was set aside for us. The extensive selection of both sweet and savory dishes gave us plenty of options to choose from. Everything was fresh and prepared to order. I highly recommend the lemon and blueberry cake—it was absolutely delicious!
This charming traditional tea room features lovely decor with classic teapots and teacups. However, there are a few drawbacks to mention. The staff doesn't seem particularly enthusiastic, which can detract from the experience. While they do try to promote health-conscious options, it feels like they could do more, especially considering they are an established tea room that offers a variety of breakfast choices. Additionally, the vegetarian sausages could be of better quality; Richmond sausages would be a good standard to aim for. On a positive note, it's wonderful that they allow dogs to sit under the table. There's also a beautiful selection of cakes, particularly the Black Forest gateau, which is a delightful treat.
We had a wonderfully welcoming experience in the furnished room for our group, which included our dog. The sandwiches were delicious, and there was an impressive selection of homemade cakes. It was a lovely place to relax before heading back to Exmouth. Overall, we enjoyed a delightful time filled with laughter, thanks to the friendly staff.
