Bidra med feedbackThe vegan choices at the airport are quite limited, but at least one can find a warm meal here. I had the vegan breakfast which included a chickpea omelet (it was decent), bread, a few sides, and a drink of my choice. The price was reasonable for Israel and the meal was filling enough to keep me satisfied during my 4-hour flight. A helpful tip: you can download the Aroma app to receive a 10% discount on your order and avoid waiting in long lines.
This restaurant is likely the top pick at the airport, but it is on the pricey side (like all the rest). They offer two vegan sandwich choices (chickpea omelette and vegetables) and salads. They also have almond milk for coffee!
I ordered the vegan chickpea sandwich but it came with real mayonnaise. Despite being in a rush for my flight, the restaurant kindly replaced it with a true vegan sandwich. I requested a bottle of water as a cover, and they provided one (although I haven't tasted it yet, I will enjoy it on the plane).
After we have come through the security, we have lost our hopes to find something to eat, but at the end this place found good fast service, large portions and tasty eating could even go back for apple pastries!
The chickpea omelet was good, but they got the order wrong, twice! They gave me a real egg sandwich, twice. Their English is not so good I guess. No apology or explanation either.
