Chicken Cottage - Telford and Wrekin

The chicken fingers at this restaurant are excellent and definitely worth trying. They are the best in Telford. The new kebab options are also exciting and have the potential to be amazing.

I will not be ordering delivery from this restaurant again. Despite living less than a 2 minute drive away, the chips we received were soggy and cold, not fresh or crispy at all. The large portion of chips we ordered was actually tiny. The corn on the cob was served stone cold, as if it had been cooked and stored in the fridge. My meal deal was missing the 3 spicy wings that were supposed to be included. I have called 4 times and they are not answering the phone. I will not be using Chicken Cottage again.

The food at this restaurant was terrible, and the service was extremely slow because nothing was prepared in advance. I was willing to wait for fresh food, but it had no flavor and there were hairs in it, making it inedible. The restaurant itself was run-down and dirty, which did not inspire confidence. The claims of being better than Nando's and other positive reviews seemed suspicious to me. I hope they can improve, as Telford could use a good takeaway chicken place that isn't KFC or Nando's. Overall, I wasted 20 minutes and £10 on this disappointing experience.

Not only did the young lady on the phone have an attitude when I tried to explain I'd been calling for a while and they're may be a problem with the phones, you then sent the wrong order to which couldn't be eaten at all due to allergies, for me to have to speak to 3 people, 2 of which (the first person I spoke to and the last person the manager) were very rude. Was told I'd be getting a refund to which I was then refused because the manager didn't want to spend £3 out of his pocket because food hub take that from him. I then went through food hub like the manager told me to and they told me I had to go through the restaurant for it. So the manager clearly lied to me to not have to give a refund back because they can't get a customers order right. We come to chicken cottage for food weekly. We don't usually have it delivered and the one time we do, you've now lost a regular customer. Poor manners, poor service. Foods amazing. Just a shame about the terrible customer service and the horrendous attitudes on the staff member and manager.

Chicken cottage is literally the best place to go for chicken always ordering from I always order the peri peri wrap honestly better the Nandos and alot cheaper and the apple pies are the bomb
