Experiment Coffee And Pastry - Tempe

I was in Arizona for a work trip and stopped here for coffee each morning. I arrived around 6:30 and they were just pulling the pastries out of the oven. Legit the best cream cheese danish I've ever had. I'm really writing this review because I was just wishing there was a way I could get some of those fresh pastries again. The coffee was pretty tasty too.

This place is a hidden gem. Incredible pastries. Wow. Just wow.

After finding Experiment online, and reading the reviews, I have been longing to try this place out. And it lived up to the hype!We got the Pistachio Caramel Latte, Butterscotch Oak Barrel Latte, the espresso croissant and the blackberry mango cheese Danish (pictured! Everything was absolutely delicious!! Just as other reviews have mentioned, the pastries here are absolutely wonderful and as for the lattes, you can taste the coffee and recognize its quality while also having delicious and unique signature flavorings.The space inside the cafe is very limited, as others have mentioned, so this is more of a grab and go place. It's important to note you're paying for what you purchase (the total was about $25 for a regular coffee, large coffee, and two pastries . But with that being said, the prices are comparable to other cafes just much better quality! Nowadays I justify when I get coffee out by saying I'm also paying for the 2 3 hours I'm spending working/studying in the space, as well. However, these pastries and coffee, are worth it all on their own. Highly recommend!

If you're looking for delicious pastries and coffee, this is an excellent choice. Next time I look forward to getting the jalapeño and cream cheese croissant!

My partner and I just moved here from Connecticut and this place is definitely already a favorite. The coffee is terrific, they know how to make a latte so you can still taste the coffee but also taste the flavor you got in it and so that it’s not too sweet! The pastries and croissants are probably the best I’ve ever had and worth every penny. The service every time I go is great and I’m always greeted with a smile! I will be bringing everyone I know here(:
