Pier 54 - Tempe

We really enjoyed the restaurant. Tranquil evening with live music overlooking the lake. Food was decent, service was not great (we think our server forgot about us). We will totally come back in the future!

The musician completely ruined what could have been a fantastic evening at a lovely patio restaurant. We asked the manager twice to ask him to lower the volume, as he was far too loud for such a small space, and his singing left much to be desired. My friend and I could barely hear each other due to the overpowering sound from his amplifier. The manager claimed she couldn’t do anything, despite complaints from other diners as well. Eventually, I approached the musician myself to request that he turn it down, but he dismissed me and suggested that I be more respectful of his craft. His music should have been a pleasant background for the dining experience, not blaring as if it were a rock concert. It was a terrible experience.

I had a fantastic experience at Pier 54. We ordered the calamari, lamb burger, and bacon-wrapped shrimp skewers. While the calamari and shrimp skewers were slightly chewy and a bit overcooked, the excellent service and drinks more than compensated for it. I wish I could remember our server's name, as she was incredibly friendly, helpful, and perfectly timed in her visits to our table. She truly made our Valentine's Day celebration special. I would definitely go back to try a different appetizer and enjoy more drinks while soaking in the great company, music, and beautiful sunsets.

The restaurant was fantastic! I took my wife there for her birthday, and we absolutely loved the Lamb Burger! The manager was very astute, and the service was friendly and attentive. It’s officially our new favorite restaurant! The music was great as well. I shared some pictures I took of the lake at sunset on Facebook. I highly recommend this place!

Food and service were good. Two piece band was too loud and it was impossible to hear anyone at our table. Other than the noise level everything was good. Outdoor, so dress accordingly.
