The Keg Steakhouse Tempe

The two prime rib were very tough and hard to cut. The Brussel sprouts and carrots were under cooked. The only reason we did not send the food back was we were there celebrating a graduation and I didn't want to embarrass my granddaughter. It was very disappointing for the price we paid.

Our server was not friendly at all. She seemed annoyed as soon as we sat down. A salad forgotten and it was the wrong salad when it came out. (We didn't even mention that because she seemed so crabby) Steaks were delivered to the table long before steak knives. There was a chunk of white plastic wrap in my son's prime rib that we told the runner that was clearing our table. The manager did send out a free dessert for that. The women's bathroom had stalls that were out of order and then the one I used would not flush so I wonder if the sign was on the wrong door. The lobby had think dust that was visible along the wall, base and hostess stand. We took our family out to celebrate my son's graduation so it was a disappointment for our celebration meal.

The time to get out meal, salads and appetizers were almost 20min between each item which made our dinner being almost 2.5 hours. We have been to the Keg many times and this is definitely the longest we have ever had to wait for or food.

We enjoyed everything, the service was fantastic , the food great and the quality great. We love having special days celebrated at the Keg (Mothers Day and my wife's birthday) Thanks

Food was good servers were friendly and attentive. The downside was, we sat on the patio, and figured with shade and misters it would be comfortable, which it was until they turned the misters off because they were dripping on other patrons that came after us. So it was either upset us by being hot or upset the other customers by letting them get dripped on. Instead of moving the other guests to a non-dripping table, or just sliding their table in a few inches, they opted to turn the whole system off and refused to turn it back on, so we ended our dinner early and as it was just too hot to continue fixing the layout and Mr. system would make it a five star trip. Now that we're going into the summer months, I'd recommend sitting inside to get a typical good keg experience, but don't count on usual Arizona misted patio settings if you're outside.
