Thirsty Lion Gastropub Grill - Tempe

My wife and I have been here numerous times. We went again last Friday and sat at the bar. We were greeted right away but had to get the bartenders attention for everything after that. I watched her as she looked at my can, which I crushed so it would be obvious it was empty, (They serve Miller Light in a 16 oz aluminum can, which is kinda cool) and she turned away to talk to another girl behind the bar and then went to the other side. She was busy and maybe just had an off day and it wasn't bad enough to make me stop going the for the Scotch eggs but... Parking: It's in a mall.

The food is great and the service was good, but they were very busy which seemed to slow things just a tiny amount. The atmosphere is great but it is quite loud inside, almost so much so that it is hard to talk and hear, but it was fun.

I ordered the Gastropub Burger. It was absolutely perfect.

Been here twice in one week with my family. The food was delicious and had good portions. If I come to Tempe, this is one of my 1st choices to dine.

Denise our server was very sweet. She made sure are drinks were full, and always came by to see if we needed anything. The food and drinks were terrific. I had the breakfast burrito, daughter had the Spinach Omelete and my son had the breakfast sandwich, all were delicious. I loved the atmosphere!!! Definitely 5 stars!!!
