Bidra med feedbackDon't listen to the haters. They do a big volume so produce, fish are always fresh and they monitor the supplies all day long to discard spoiled items. The flowers are superb, again, we all know about it and the supplies are replenished frequently. My go to place for fish those guys are good at what they do, knowledgable, and honest about what's in the case. There is a small selection of international groceries mostly Israeli, Korean, eastern european to keep it interesting. Prices for produce, given the quality, are the best around sure you can go to ShopRite and get picked over produce for less, if that's what you want. The checkout clerks are just that hourly wage, boring job, what do you expect?
Really enjoyed their produce but safety measures are quite subpar. One of the cashiers thinks that wearing a mask is way below her and constantly has it below her chin even when people are directly near her. Shame that the management is not doing anything about it.
Just returned from Tenafly Gourmet. Don't shop here frequently so I don't know if this is typical but: All varieties of bagged, blended lettuce and cole slaw were expired by 1-3 days. When staff was informed I was politely thanked but nothing was removed from shelf. Produce prices (tomatoes, grapes, peppers) higher than any surrounding grocery stores including Kings and Whole Foods. My bill only came to $9.50 (since I elected not to buy overpriced and outdated produce) but they would not budge off their $10 credit card minimum. Not sure what the incentive is to shop here, but I won't be returning anytime soon.
Very happy here. Fruit was fresh. Prices are a little high but great selection and products, when you don't want to deal with going to a large grocery store.
Bought Boar 's Head turkey two days ago and it was not good. When I went to return all they wanted was the receipt when the sticker clearly stated that it was purchased at Tenafly Gourmet Farm and included the date of purchase. The cashier said she could do nothing. Left the turkey there and thought about the poor customer service. Returned and got the turkey out of he garbage and brought to the deli counter where the 'manager ' smelled it, rebuked the cashier for lack of customer service and then proceeded to do NOTHING!. Did not want the 's back, wanted the turkey replaced and even advised I was interested in purchasing ham, but still NOTHING, no credit, no replacement turkey so I left and went to Stop Shop who was happy to sell me Boar 's Head. Not sure I will be returning to Tenafly drop the Gourmet Farm
