Costa Coffee - Tendring

Helpful staff and a great place for a pit stop. Every time we have been there its busy. Parking available outside.

I was just sitting down on a dry chair and got a disgusting attitude from the workers. it was not a trip hazard it was f0cking dry. the attitude of staff here always make me feel degraded and not in a good way. i was embarrased in front of the other customers and the staff here really give the vibe thag they don’t want to be there. i hope they sort themselves out. i have never had a good experience with the staff here and i hope they do us all a favour. and die!

The upholstery by the door is disgraceful. It is stained with holes in the material, the floor is dirty around the edges with bits of crumbs not swept up. The staff have no personality and never give you a friendly welcome. The coffee is however ususally acceptable.

We have just been refused a coffee and a cake because the over zealous member of staff, Jocelyn, ordered me to show my track and trace green tick. I had already carried out the track and trace request but the manner in which confirmation was demanded was unjustifiable, unnecessary and contrary to good customer service. I had no idea Costa are training their staff using Stasi methods. Having supported Costa for many years we will never return.

Coffee is pretty much the same as you'll find in any other costa shop. staff could be a bit more friendly
