Bidra med feedbackThe restaurant is a quiet street. it is run by a family and they can taste the proud one they have in their business. eating was amazing, we ordered the ducks to start tacos and then we both ordered the lechon as our main. it was incredibly likely to be the best plate of food we had this year! my man ordered another man to dessert. the service was excellent, we will definitely be back.
My family and I went to la fortaleza not quite know what to expect. we were told that it was Italian that actually had more willingness to war than aroused. we were pleasantly surprised when we were immediately greeted by jp at the arrival and his family-his sister is the...Koch-and led to our cheerful lacquered table (more about that later). we got menus and the first thing we noticed is that la fortaleza 't italian, but more fusion. the menu is a happy amalgam of world food: bbq ripening, pasta, burger, Mexican farewell and a French woofer soup that rivaled everything I had previously eaten in my earlier 8 years of living in frankly. we ordered the burgers and the suppe, and became abundant time to search the beautiful art work decorating the walls. we asked ourselves loudly about the art, and there are above all the collected works of the artist of la fortaleza, john hilliard, who lives and works before site for much of winter and earlyling. but back to eat. I cannot imagine that his offers are nothing but the spectacular presentation and excellent taste we receive. everything was simply delicious, copyic and a firm for the eyes and the palate. the service was excellent and we loved it so much we 're planning a return trip on this weekend. oh, there is a tiny bite: they are open only Friday Sunday. So they're coming there while they're here, so they won't be disappointed that they missed it. concerning the table, everyone is an artwork in his own right, but all the tables can be joined together to create a huge painting. it is such a remarkable thing to see! and if you need a place to wash, la fortaleza offers tastefully decorated rooms and suits behind the restaurant to a beautiful garden. whatever they do, they make this a must-see taste experience when they visit tequisquiapan.
What a great restaurant, la fortaleza is out of the way, so they need to look to find it, but it is worth it. the food is first class, boiled amd perfectly presented, and the service was fantastic. the food lasted one because to get out, but we were a big group on the waiter who was prepared with charm and tequila. each dish was prepared with care, even the children's meals. highly recommended if you find yourself in tequisquiapan amd are tired of tourist falling.
We enjoyed our first and second visit to La Fortaleza so much, that for the third visit we invited friends. I decided to go back to my first experience and have the coconut shrimp again, I was not disappointed. Others in our party picked a variety and everyone left the restaurant happy and satisfied. One guest wasn't satisfied with the plate when it arrived, possibly a misunderstanding due to language, but the management handled the matter with diplomacy and created a very satisfactory replacement. What I really like about this restaurant is the atmosphere and the hospitality of Adriana and Gerardo. They are "hands on" managers, very professional and courteous. Adriana, at my request, showed me a new guest room she is preparing for rental. I live in this town, but in a one-bedroom, so my curiosity related to possible future guests. The room was so lovely, I think I would consider renting it myself!
We live in Tequisquiapan. A close friend recommended the restaurant several months ago and our only regret is that we didn't visit sooner as we would have been back several times before now. Our experience was delightful in every way. The food was high quality, served professionally and Adriana and Gerardo treated us like family. The place was beautiful in decor, well-maintained and immaculate. The building was fantastic, I felt like I had gone back several centuries in time - very quiet neighborhood, unusual for our little town. Adriana gave us a tour of the guestroom available for rent. I would definitely recommend it, price is good. We are looking forward to our next visit.
