Egg Morning Cafe - Terrell

Grat place. My omelette was cooked over 1.5? thick. Food was great. Showed up at 10:00 Sunday and was seated immediately. This should not happen, but glad it did today.

The food was okay. I ordered a veggie omelette. The cheese seemed like it was a slice of yellow cheese. The service was not the best. There were only two girls waitressing. They both were overwhelmed. It took them 25 minutes to come take our order andthat's only because we asked one of the girls if we could place our order. They definitely need more help just like most otherbusinesses. It's a shame since this place could probably be a lot better. The interior looks a little run down and could usesome lighter colors.

Oh my goodness! We walked in and not a single table was clean. One of the four young girls eventually got up to wipe a table, but then she used the same rag to clean the floor and tossed it onto the next table. The entire time we were there, all four of them sat at a front table on their phones, and no one made an effort to clean up. It wasn't until a mother and her two little kids entered that anyone cleaned a table, and they used that same dirty rag. It was extremely unprofessional, disgusting, and unsanitary! I will never return to this place again.

The food was decent, but not outstanding. When I asked the waitress what the best menu item was, she replied that she doesn’t eat here. This makes me hesitant to return, especially if the staff themselves don’t enjoy the food. Also, I thought $2.99 for a cup of coffee was a bit excessive.

This restaurant has the worst waitstaff I've ever experienced. Without a doubt, they could drive this place to failure. I understand they're short-staffed, but there was a complete lack of urgency. We had to refill our own drinks and constantly remind the waitress to bring us silverware. She even forgot part of our order and seemed completely unfazed when she accidentally spilled an entire tray of drinks on us. The service was atrocious, and we won't be coming back.
