The George Inn - Test Valley

The George Inn is like a fairytale brought to reality! This pub captures everything you would expect from books and tales. The atmosphere is truly magical, with cozy open fireplaces that make you feel right at home. The staff go above and beyond, offering friendly and attentive service. To add to the enchantment, there was a fantastic live band performing in the evening, creating a perfect ambiance. Even the presence of a friendly dog wandering around added to the charm. An incredible experience – a must-visit! Five stars all around!

I highly recommend this pub. We pre-ordered for a big group and the staff took great care of us. The pizzas were delicious, the outdoor garden is charming, and the atmosphere is cozy. Thank you George Inn!

This pub is fantastic, with a great atmosphere and wonderful staff. The food is good and I particularly love Buster. This place holds many happy memories for me and I'm glad to see it is being well taken care of. Congratulations to the whole team!

The best roast I have eaten in a long time! We had one beef and one chicken roast and the previous week I had the lamb, all of which were outstanding. The food came within 10 minutes of ordering as it was a Sunday one assumes the roasts just need plating. It was hot with plenty of veg variety. All the staff are so friendly and attentive, all in all its a great village pub.
