Tew-mac Tavern At Tewksbury Country Club

I absolutely adore the food at TewMac Tavern! I'm quite selective about my dining experiences, as I seek meals that surpass what I can whip up at home, and this place does not disappoint. The staff is friendly, the restaurant offers stunning views of the golf course, and the food is top-notch. In my opinion, it provides the best dining experience in the area. I really hope they expand the menu come fall—I can't wait to try some new dishes!

Food was good but really over priced for lunch menu. $26 for a salad with few pieces of steak on it seems high

I wish I could evaluate this restaurant based solely on its food and atmosphere, but unfortunately, my 84-year-old father and I didn’t even get that opportunity. We stood by the entrance, waiting to be seated in a dining room that was less than half full, while numerous staff members walked by us without acknowledging our presence. After about five minutes of being ignored, we decided to leave and find a restaurant that actually values its customers. If their food and service reflect their lack of hospitality, I’m relieved we chose to leave.

What a fantastic dinner! It was our first visit to the CC in two years, and the Tavern exceeded our expectations. The food was incredible, and the staff was really friendly. We’re definitely planning to come back soon, and we’ll be sure to get a table outside!

Leaving one star only as a reminder that it's permanently closed .. It was actually great.
