Rigos Cafe - Texas City

I had a wonderful breakfast at this restaurant! The service was top-notch and my food came out quickly. I ordered the Vulcan (educated) dish and it was incredibly tasty. I highly recommend it!

I have been to this restaurant twice before, and I must say it is amazing. I have lived in this area for at least 12 years and always wondered about the quality of this place. Now that I have tried it, I can say that it is fantastic. If I had the money, I would come here every day. I tried the chicken club sandwich one day and the berries and cream French toast on another day. Both were delicious, but the French toast was the best breakfast I have ever had.

When visiting Texas City, let me tell you how to have the perfect Sunday morning. Wake up early and watch the sunrise at the dike or levee (check the weather app for the exact time, about 10 minutes before for all the colors to show). After that, head to Rigo's Cafe on 6th Street and 9th Avenue for coffee and breakfast. For breakfast, I recommend trying the Catastrophic. It includes a choice of bread, hash browns or home fries, ham, sausage gravy, and eggs cooked to your liking. There may be more in it, but I was too full to remember. The coffee was great and the service was exceptional. Maria was very attentive and super sweet. It's become a Sunday morning tradition for me. Update: I went back and tried the Vulcan! It was bursting with flavor! My wife had the Super Burrito without the tortilla, served on a bed of hash browns. It was gluten-free and delicious. I would give them another 5 stars if I could.

Wide variety, the full menu is served during business hours. the food is good and cheap given for portion also the service is fast and friendly. all around a great place would definitely recommend.

I love this place! It's a seat yourself Cafe, and they are quick and friendly. The food is great. I love their hashbrown with white gravy and peppers! It was delicious! They also have French toast with berries and cream! Oh, so delicious! An amazing home cook feeling and taste and pretty good prices in my opinion! Definitely recommend!
