The Channon Tavern

What a fantastic little pub! I always look forward to stopping by. The food is great, and the beer is ice-cold. There's a lovely beer garden in the front and side, and plenty of space inside.

Absolutely fantastic! The best meal I've had in ages—brisket and grilled barramundi salad were standout dishes. The portion sizes are enormous. The staff is incredibly welcoming, especially to families; they even provided an activity pack for our 2-year-old. The outdoor seating next to the playground makes it a breeze to enjoy a relaxed meal with young children. The bar staff is friendly and serves up a great pint as well. This place excels in both quality and quantity, and I highly recommend it!

We arrived just before the kitchen was about to close, but the staff was exceptionally accommodating, even offering vegan options! The service, food, and location were all wonderful. We couldn't have been happier and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone nearby. They truly went above and beyond, providing an outstanding dining experience for a group of tired travelers at the last minute. It was truly unforgettable.

Great little tavern. Had calamari and chips for lunch was very tasty. Good spot to drop into if The Channon markets are on and also before or after doing trail walks around area

Great food, friendly staff but book if you can. Even if it's just before you go it's worth it. There wasn't a chair to spare when we left today at 1pm and people were standing, waiting and we watched them put reserved signs on most of the tables before 12:30 and by one there was standing room only.
