Bidra med feedbackCame here to try the Festive High Tea by Anna Polyviou and was really impressed with the presentation and flavours in the set. I loved the playfulness of the menu and the wide variety of sweet and savoury options on the stand. In particular, the scones and the turkey croquettes were exceptional to me. On top of that, the customer service and atmosphere were fantastic.<br/ <br/ If you'd like to read more of my reviews, please check out my Zomato page and visit @cynthiaeats_ on Instagram for more photos!
Took my mum for high tea in the Lobby Lounge and had a pleasant afternoon nibbling on delights created by the lovely Anna Polyviou.<br/ <br/ We opted for the traditional high tea with the champagne. It was an absolute treat! <br/ <br/ Loved every bit of it. The savoury tier is creative and elegant. The seafood mousse cone was a delight. <br/ <br/ The scones are the softest I’ve ever had. The texture was amazing and they were delicious when topped with the berry jam and clotted cream. <br/ <br/ Anna is known for her sweets and the top shelf lives up to the hype. Chocolate, caramel, mango, berry, cream. You name it, it’s there. The stand out was the mango pearls that burst in your mouth atop of the mango cake.<br/ <br/

Delightful high tea experience at Shanghai La.<br/ <br/ We debated on the decadent chocolate high tea, however, we chose the traditional high tea menu. The food was lovely and just the right amount!<br/ <br/ Pros:<br/ Lovely light filled venue.<br/ Delicious food.<br/ Excellent service, friendly and quick.<br/ Very reasonable costing for high tea a a glass of champagne.<br/ <br/ Cons:<br/ Venue was very warm.<br/ No tea was offered to my 10 year old (we paid the full adult price . Only water was provided after we declined the juice option.<br/ Noisy guests (children partaking in the “Barbie high tea” . Whilst not the hotels fault, a quiet word would be nice.
This Masterchef pressure test dish is made up of layers of roasted milk chocolate, peanut grue, raspberry marshmallow, raspberry cold set brûlée, peanut butter cremeaux, chocolate soufflé sponge, raspberry gel, roasted milk chocolate mousse in a tempered chocolate shell. . You light it on fire and it doesn’t bang but the flavours are amazing! No matter which way you eat it. We shared it between 4 of us but you could probably share between 2 as well if you are hungry.
