Sushi Tokoro - Thornton

We ordered a variety of rolls: rainbow rolls, a spicy yellowtail roll, a yellowtail roll, a salmon roll, and the Buddha (tempura) roll. In my opinion, all were delicious, but I especially loved the Buddha roll! I’m not a sushi connoisseur—I usually have sushi about five times a year—but I found this restaurant to be charming and quaint, with a genuine "mom-and-pop" vibe. The couple who served us were incredibly kind and attentive. A sushi meal is meant to be enjoyed slowly, paired with great conversation, and that’s exactly the experience we had. I’m looking forward to returning and trying more dishes on my next visit!

I visited this restaurant with my cousin after a long day, hoping for a quick sushi fix. Unfortunately, it wasn't as quick as we'd hoped, but it seemed like there were only two staff members working, so we didn't mind too much. I ordered the udon, and it was really delicious. Although I'm from out of town and won't be back soon since I live in California, I would love to return the next time I visit family. The sushi rolls were also impressive! My little cousin had the teriyaki chicken and ate more than she usually does, which clearly shows she enjoyed it too!

As for dietary restrictions, we had someone at our table with a tuna allergy, and they were very accommodating, offering to leave out or substitute the tuna in the rolls.

Fantastic sushi and ramen! Everything was incredibly fresh. They also have plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans. The fried zucchini sushi was both crunchy and delicious. They even prepared a veggie ramen just for us by replacing the meat with extra vegetables. The staff was very friendly and accommodating!

Wonderful restaurant! The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, answering all of our questions. It’s a family-owned business, which adds to the charm. The chef even came to our table to check if everything was to our liking. We will definitely come back!
