If you like a touch of a sweet crust with a pizza place that knows how to top a pizza...then you need to check out Firehouse Pizza. Also, it is not greasy, which is awesome! And our kiddo LOVED the pickle pie! We live about 25 30 mins away, and to get there we pass no fewer than 15 pizza places (chains and locals) and I DON'T CARE...it is so worth it. They have a pretty large menu with a variety of items such as sandwiches, salads, fried appetizers, etc. We did try the Italian sub and it was delicious...enjoy dressing balanced with a good amount of toppings and a bread that puts other sub places to shame. Delicious and I am thankful they are supportive of the local schools as we went during an evening they were giving back a donation of your purchase to local school music programs, supporting the high school band and choirs, a different school each night! Kid friendliness: Um, pizza? Although I am sure they are out there, haven't met a kid who doesn't like pizza yet.
