Bidra med feedbackThe service was really good and the fresh bread. My pork chop was dry and over cooked and the mustard mixed with apple was a bit of an odd combination. Not bad, but not that great. The scalloped potatoes were a little plain, but still good. I think my expectations may have been high because a new friend highly recommended the place. Maybe I just need to try a different meal.
Our first time there and it wasn't a good experience. The food was pretty good but the service was seriously lacking. We sat there for 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. A waiter clearing the table next to us off-handedly asked if we had been helped and came over to take our drink order with his hands full of dirty dishes. We never got the appetizer we ordered and when he brought the main course and said it would be right up, we cancelled it. I've honestly had better service at Denny's.
My wife was out of town and I always like to test drive restaurants that we haven 't gone to before I bring her. I noticed that some of the previous comments had to do with the restaurant being expensive so the first thing that I looked at before I was seated was the menu. It seemed normal to me. Maybe a couple of dollars more or less than other restaurants serving the same type of food. So nothing to get excited about one way or the other. To me, expensive is paying a lot of money for McDonalds or some other fast food place that is unhealthy and prepared with who knows what. It depends on whether a person wants to present a serious challenge to their health sometime in the future or have great healthy food for a few dollars more, and save grief and expense in the back-end of their life. To me that 's far more expensive.I thought the atmosphere was very comfortable. The food tasted good, well prepared and inventive. It was not over designed just for the purpose of being trendy. I liked it a lot and will definitely bring my wife back
I go here anywhere from once a week or once every two weeks. The craft cocktails are very exceptional and so many to choose from. The service is fantastic, they keep me updated and swing by as I eat to see if I need anything. I really like the bigger space because the tables aren't too close so you do get elbow room.I loved from the Hollywood/ Koreatown area where great restaurants are abundant. One advantage of coming here is that the prices are so reasonable, if it was LA expect to pay a lot more for the quality of food. The owner comes at times to chat with customers which makes the experience more personable. Be sure to take a loaf home if you like bread. The ribs are amazing, the meat falls right off the bone and the bbq sauce is made in house with a great flavor. The crispy chicken thighs are also my favorite, I just think they really put effort into making their food flavorful. So glad I found this place, I don't have to drive to the Valley or LA for fantastic food.
I had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant on Lakeview canyon road and was thrilled that they were opening around the corner from me. WHAT HAPPENED?? This was a nightmare of a dining experience. The beach chairs around the fireplace left something to be desired. The charcuterie board contained 6 olives 6 pieces of cheese 6 crackers all for $35.00. A joke! Then the so-called entree arrived. to say horrible would be a compliment. I have never had to leave a review like this in all of my Conejo Valley dinings. The people who gave this place 5 stars must be being paid or family. Sorry.
