Wonderful food and ambience – we are just so sorry that this PFChang closes!
Unfortunately, the highlights were the first cocktails walking near the BofA performing art center. We ordered Split 3 entries that all came out warm, at best. The pleasant waitress was apologetic had quickly made the order new for us. When the second remake orders came out, they were definitely warmer because they were not hot as expected, and the waiter who brought them made a defensive comment about the wind that cooled them prematurely. We believe that it was rather a function that the entries are not delivered immediately from the kitchen, especially in the first round. The design of beer selection also seemed somewhat lacking, did not include a local / rotating craft option, as per menu. $108 for two people, w/o hot refined food, was definitely not worth it.
The restaurant was nice and we were seated close to our reservation time. I did not get the QR code to open easily for menu review. It was not easy to see menu on my phone with my bad eyesight. So we ordered appetizers and they were very good . Took a bit longer to get food but portions were generous for appetizers.
They're saving a buck at the expense of their guests. Air Conditioning is never cool, even when you request they turn it on. Our waiter worked so hard, there were only two on duty and a lot of tables were waiting for food, so again poor planning or trying to save a buck at everyone's expense. I don't expect this from a restaurant like this. Food was good but not exceptional. I would expect they'll go under if they continue with this level of service.
