Giorg Ristorante - Thunder Bay

We live in toronto, a city full of Italian restaurants and spend summer near thunder bay. we have been enjoying at giorg for years. the eating is always excellent, the wine list is plentiful and varied and the service is fast, effective and inconspicuous....I have numerous Italian Resto’s I can go, but my favorite is giorg. it is consistently excellent and one of the best restaurants in thunder bay.

We had two nights in Thunder Bay and chose this Italian Restaurant on our second night. It was their first night returning to indoor dining during the Covid pandemic. The service and the food were both excellent. It was the best dinner I've had in...6 months. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Would highly recommend. The entrance is on a side street which takes one or two tries to find! Street parking available.

Not impressed! Made new years eve reservations 3 weeks in advance to ensure we had reservations at our preferred time. Looking forward to starting the new year enjoying a great meal in a lovely setting. We were sorely dissappointed to receive notification that our reservation...was cancelled by the restaurant on boxing day via email, not even the decency to call us. This is horrible customer service from a restaurant that promotes itself as upscale. Will not be in any hurry to make another reservation with this place Two thumbs down.

Went with 14 others, had private room. Waiter was fantastic! Food delicious, ambiance cozy and inviting. Highly recommend. Everyone enjoyed their meals and beverages. If you haven't tried it yet you must.

Giorg Cucina e Barra is a great Italian gem that needs to be experienced, and tasted! The service was exceptional, the waiter friendly and engaging. With so many delicious choices on the menu it was difficult to choose but I settled on the Rigatoni Bolognese...and my sister had the Pappardelle di Coniglio and neither of us were disappointed. I will need to check out other menu choices the next time I am in Thunder Bay
