Los Amigos Mexican - Thurmont

Food was priced very reasonable and it was tasty. My son ordered a cheeseburger and the meat was kind of dry and fries a little burned, but my Fajitas were prepared well and just enough for one person to consume. Our waitress was nice, quick and checked on us several times during our lunch.. The restaurant is clean and provides plenty of seating. Overall good experience.

We dine out a lot, and I'm a very tolerant person. Mexican restaurants are always my favorite. What to say about this place Our service was absolutely horrible, our waiter could not have been slower or worse. He walked by us numerous times. We had to practically grab him to get his attention. I want to like this place, but I just can't. Even though it's one of the only restaurants in Thurmont, it's a disappointment every time. When I dined in, my taco meat was raw. When I ordered it to go, the hard taco was put directly on top of everything else enclosed in the same container so it was a soggy mess by the time it got home less than 5 minutes away. Went here for date night and we were very impressed. Service was seriously very good. We were seated immediately and given chips and salsa right away. Then our server came within one minute to get our drink order. We had our drinks (house margarita and ice tea) within a couple minutes and he then made food recommendations and took our order. We used to go here a lot when they first opened. It has gone downhill. Waited 15 for service while other tables that came in after us were being served. A kind waitress came over and apologized profusely and waited on us. No big deal, we stayed. The waitress was very sweet but when the food came out it was still ice cold.
