The Furnace Grill And Crab House

I buy steamed crabs only once or twice a year typically. I've gotten my bushel from The Furnace all but 2 or 3 times in the last 5 years, including today. The Furnace never disappoints, the crabs today were great as always. I cannot say that about the other places I tried. I won't go anywhere else for crabs again.

The food was delicious, fresh and good quality. The location is very convenient, not too far from the Cunningham Fall State Park, MD and next to the main road It is a good choice for anyone wants to visit and enjoy your day at the park. This place has a spacious dining room that is simply furnished with coastal or bungalow style room, also there is lot of parking spot outside with outdoor patio seating is available. p.s. When I was there, I was waiting for food a little long time, maybe it was because they just opened, anyway it is not a big deal for me, and the waitress service was fine.

Wait time: 45 minutes We ordered the rodeo burger and the Po Boy sandwich, which were both amazing, but we did wait 45 minutes for our food. If you're ordering crab legs, the service is almost immediate. After asking at the 40 minute mark, our food came out in 5ish minutes and we were told they only had 1 cook today. Overall, a pretty good experience! Just don't be in a rush if you go...

Not sure why more people aren’t here. Very good steamed crabs at a great ayce price, and lots of side options.
