The good feature is that they have a nice ambiance outside and enough tables. It wasn't crowded Parking: Park in front of a nearby store Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3
We walked in and did not feel welcomed right away . We were finally acknowledged and we ordered a pint and asked for menus. We finally got our pints and then were billed . The bar tender was more interesting in the football game and never did bring the menus . His use of the F word was frequent as well . So we left after we drank the pint . By the time we tried to find a restaurant or pub to get a bite. But by the time we found the other places they had all closed their kitchens. Not a good first impression. We won’t be going back . Very disappointed.
Very friendly staff and delicious food. Only time I think my kids have cleared their plates. Very dog friendly.
It's a great place with lots of potential however we where left feeling lacking. I think we might have been unlucky on our visit as it was really early season. However the staff where quite lack luster in their efforts in serving also the food was just ok but it didn't really match the price that was been asked for it. Maybe when the season is in full swing they might up their game a bit. My partner's crab salad was very disappointing. It looked like the crab had come out of a tin as it was very watery. The prawns where more like shrimp. A 3rd of the plate was plain white sliced bread and a 3rd was the salad which was just shredded lettuce. My fish and chips was alot better but the chips left a bit to be desired as they where very thin and a bit scabby. Fish was nice though. Not sure if I can really recommend this place. Saving grace for us was the place is dog friendly.
Food was lovely which is same menu as Ynot which is next door but the do not allow dogs. Good locals pub but as a visitor we were made to feel welcome. Visited Sunday evening so not a lot of patrons within
