We had a delicious meal here yesterday. The food was top notch, tastes authentic Italian. The chicken thigh salad was delicious. Dessert was also delicious. Ambiance was good. We arrived at 5:10 PM to a quarter full restaurant. Even though our drinks order was taken quickly, asking for food took forever. After we finally ordered, the serving also took a long time. For the main course, one of our party ordered the pappardelle alle Gamba. As it says on the map; ribbon pasta with prawns, garlic and red pepper. After 40 minutes this was finally reserved. Turns out the paparadelle is made with heavy cream. Not quite Italian. After waiting 20 minutes for another dish that never came, order was cancelled. No apology in any form and especially conflict-avoidant behavior. Despite our previous good experiences with Olijf, no more Olijf for us.
