Bidra med feedbackI wish they offered more Italian wine varieties, like Nebbiolo or Barbera. However, the wine list, which was heavy on Cabernet, still featured many good options. Aside from that, my visit was fantastic. The food and service were excellent, and the atmosphere was very pleasant.
I absolutely loved the ambiance and decor of this restaurant. A local friend from Tifton recommended it to me, and I’m so glad they did. My friend ordered the rib eye, which looked incredibly delicious and perfectly grilled. I had the lobster ravioli, and it was both tasty and just the right portion size. The service was attentive and met all my expectations.
While we waited for our table, we noticed that all the non-white diners were seated in one specific area of the restaurant—the lower section with a large window where the sun was shining through, making it uncomfortably warm. Now, onto the food. The bread served to us was warm and soft, but the waitress brought the dipping condiments only after we had nearly finished the last slice. As for kid-friendly beverages, the only options available were bar juices for cocktails; the pineapple juice was clearly canned and transferred to a bottle, despite the waitress's attempts to convince me otherwise (having worked in a busy bar in my twenties, I know what canned pineapple juice tastes like). The seasonal peach burrata was the best dish we ordered. However, the chicken piccata was bland, with the sauce being the only flavorful component—a total miss. The side of broccoli was average at best, but the meatballs with polenta were another highlight. Unfortunately, the fettuccine alfredo was disappointing; it was greasy and lacked the seasoning that defines a good alfredo sauce. The cheese used was overwhelmingly strong, overpowering any other flavors. The waitress was, unfortunately, the biggest issue of the night. She made our experience quite awkward by dropping the bill on our table and then standing behind my husband to see what we would tip her. It was uncomfortable, and I had to ask her politely to step back and give us a moment. Lastly, although this part doesn't reflect on the restaurant itself, we had an unsettling encounter outside. On our way to the car, we were approached by a homeless person who seemed to be on drugs. She got too close for comfort, so we ended up giving her our doggie bag. If you choose to dine at this restaurant, I sincerely hope your experience is better than ours.
Fantastic food! Lobster ravioli was amazing (warning...it is real lobster...so watch out for shells...how you know it is good . We are definitely coming back! (Service was very good and fast too, and we spotted the owner bussing tables. By the way, the place is very well designed, and not horribly loud despite the high ceiling...a lot of love and thought went into this place.
We had reservations for 20 but only seated 16. They had reserved us the large table upstairs at 5PM. We were immediately seated and introduced to our server Diego. He was courteous and prompt with his service. He immediately made sure we were all aware of the surf and turf special. All of the orders were correct from initial drinks to entrees. The aged steak is real aged steak. Is is soft like silk. Everything was delicious. The price point is above average for the area but you get what you pay for. During the entree we were entertained by a violinist playing modern hits. Overall and excellent experience to celebrate the birthday of four great women. We will definitely come back. You can tell by the plate how much I enjoyed it. As a side note, it is cheaper to purchase the whole bottle and share than it is by the glass as is to be expected.
