Sweetest Thing Cupcakes - Tigard

A rural treat in the city! I love Sweetest Things Cupcake shop in Newberg and was excited to see it open its doors at Bridgeport Village. The staff is as friendly and helpful as the Newberg location, which transports the cupcakes daily to this second location. I received a free cupcake on my birthday, and chose the gluten-free chocolate cupcake with green mint frosting. I was nothing other than amazing. I always make a stop at Sweetest Things before watching a movie at the theater. The shop packages the cupcake in a special box upon request. Then, I sneak it in to the movies, wait until the lights are low and hope an usher doesn't catch me with frosting all over my face. If you are on a gluten-free diet and are at Bridgeport Village, don't make haste if you want a GF cupcake from Sweetest Things because they are known to sell out before the end of the day. If you see a tall girl running towards their little shop, it is safe to bet that it is me.

I just visited this little kiosk at Bridgeport Village for the first time. Oh my goodness, coconut cupcake with lemon curd filling and lemon icing was to die for! Can't wait to sample the other beautiful little cupcakes I brought home. Oh and sweet staff too. Will definitely be going back.
