La Tienda - Tijola

I would recommend La Tienda, great food in a beautiful setting. Closed on Wednesday so don't make that mistake!

La Tienda is a great little restaurant tucked away in the corner of the main square in Tijola. We had lunch there. The gazpacho was excellent one of the nicest I've tasted. I had a steak and asked for it to be rare. When it came I was asked to cut it to check that it was done to my liking it was. It was, however, enormous and sadly I had to leave a bit. The waitress suggested I take the remainder home and offered to wrap it. My wife had a pork steak and enjoyed it. We couldn't manage dessert a pity, they looked good. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the bill was modest.

Fuimos mi mujer y yo al ver las buenas referencias que habían dado los clientes y han acertado de pleno. Muy buena comida, a parte de calidad, cantidad y a muy buen precio, el servicio muy bueno, muy atentos y pendientes de que no nos faltara nada, vamos, de 10 y aunque cuando entras parece que es una tienda de pueblo, se siente uno muy agusto.

Raciones muy grandes, servidas con mucha amabilidad
