Absolutely true home cooking! The portions are generous and everything is beautifully prepared. The staff was incredibly friendly. We also added fresh oysters to our meal, and they were fantastic!

The restaurant has a typical diner vibe, but the food was surprisingly fantastic. The bark on the dishes was well-grilled, and they even cooked my steak perfectly! However, I would recommend asking for a bit more salt on the steak before grilling, as mine felt a little underseasoned (it seems like my steak is often underseasoned at restaurants).

The restaurant offers exceptional dining with a wide variety of menu options. The waiting staff is outstanding, providing excellent service. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great place to connect with the locals. I highly recommend dining here!

We thought for brunch and the service was super nice and attentive eating amount was generous enough to share a teller between children. it was not as spiced as some have said, but the spice is on the table. add to their taste...which is good for people with nutritional sensitivity. icy was delicious! the chicken steak was super delicate and thick.and not strongly coated. which is also good.

I took my wife and I for mother's day breakfast, it was busy with a little bit of a wait. The service was very good and food was very good, plates were cold because of that my pancake didn't melt the butter! At the original Fern Cafe Smitty and Katie always made sure that all hot food was served on hot plates. I know this for a fact as I am the eldest of 3 children of Roy Edward Smith and Katheryn Elisabeth Savory Smith more well known as Smitty and Katie). Would have liked to have seen more pictures of the old Fern Cafe, oh and one last thing, should have some more waiting seating especially for the elderly on busy days
