The South Pole - Tipton

Wonderful nostalgic little place. 16 flavors of hand dip and also soft serve vanilla accompany a quite extensive menu of all foods that you expect from a place to this. We tried the baked tenderoin sandwich, onion rings, fried pimples. They were all made perfection and very enjoyed. A great option for summer comfort food. We want to come back and enjoy again and again.

Was terrific! They used to have burgers, but not anymore. Was still awesome!

The drive through line was really crowded, I thought I would be there forever but I wasn't. The girls working the windows were organized and fast. Good job of getting people through. I hadn't been there in years. The malts we got were better than I ever remembered. Great job. I will be back.

For several months now I have only know the South Pole as a drive through but a very good drive through! Recommended drink: Root beer float, malted, with Blue Moon ice cream. They can customize your drink with special flavorings for a mere pittance! Special deals rotate, but you can't go wrong with corn dogs. sidewinders, and your own customized drink. Service is friendly and quick. Here's the menu as it appeared in April 2021!

I absolutely love this place! It brings back childhood memories! I always order the big chocolate dipped treat—it was my favorite as a kid, and it still is as an adult. They have the best milkshakes on this side of the Mississippi!
