Muthu Mess - Tirunelveli

Used to eat here regularly when I lived in Tirunelveli in 2011-12. A simple, down-to-earth ambience, and very homely, tasty food (Total Satvik food). No excess oil or spices. You can eat lunch here every single day, and you will actually not miss home food.

Open for four hours and serving lunch only, tasty vegetarian fare is served here. Hare Krishna music plays in the background. Extra vegetable dishes can be ordered paying extra. Homely tasting food. Nothing spicy. Very reasonably priced.

We went to this restaurant for dinner. We tasted idli , onion thosai and masala thosai. Food was nice. Finger licking.

It is very simple mess.good food also tasty.good service.for that food I came by auto as well as taxi.Because taste better then any other hotels in tirunelveli. Extra dishes vendi porial potato fry pavaka fry realllly Excelent.

If you are used to Star Hotels and well maintained Hotels, then this is not the place. I tried twice here and food is tastier . Does not like the cleanliness. Typical sourth indian menu .. sambar rasam and other dishes are good
