Bidra med feedbackWe decided to try Durango's since we were staying right next door. As a big fan of Texas Roadhouse, my expectations were set pretty high. I ordered the ribeye medium rare, along with onion rings and sautéed mushrooms and onions. The steak was cooked as I requested, but I found it too heavily trimmed for my liking; there was hardly any cap or tail left on it. While the tenderness of the meat indicated minimal marbling prior to cooking, the flavor was quite enjoyable, though the tenderness was just okay. My wife had the pork chop and potato, and she really liked it, so I think if we're in the area again, we might give it another shot.
We started with the baked potato skins as an appetizer, which were, as always, delicious! I ordered the honey lemon salmon with mashed potatoes and gravy, plus a Caesar salad. It was absolutely fantastic! My husband went for the top sirloin with mac and cheese and a garden salad. The salmon was cooked to perfection and paired wonderfully with the tartar sauce. The onions on my husband’s steak were a bit over-seasoned, but that didn’t stop him from enjoying them. Jeanne was attentive and took great care of us. Overall, lunch was amazing, and we were too full for dessert. We definitely plan to return and would recommend this place to others!
I ordered takeout, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. There was a great atmosphere with a nice crowd and enjoyable music this evening.
Service was great. Phillip did an awesome job keeping the drinks filled, and had a great personality. The food and atmosphere were also great. I had the Buffalo chicken sandwich. That thing was huge and delicious. My Father had the Motherload burger and said it was cooked perfect and seasoned well. Will be back for sure.
Husband and I popped in here for lunch after a bit of golf nearby. We haven't been here since Durango's was on the other side of 95. PROS *Restaurant easy to locate and parking available *Friendly staff and attentive to needs *Server was nice, stayed up on drink refills, and was quick to attend to us *Nice atmosphere, like the train traveling around and the Hogwarts train like feel of the decor behind the bar *Delicious, hot food and at decent prices CON *Only con I could give was the prime rib sandwich isn't a regular item on the menu husband had his heart set on it today but oh well, we'll try popping in on a day they might serve it Overall, nice place to eat. Just keep an eye out in the parking lot for speedy drivers as there are hotels nearby.
