Al Smith's Place - Toledo

Honestly this place is a hidden gem! Please go. The food is cheap price wise but the quality is A1! It's sooo good the gyro skillet is an unexpected surprise that you will not regret. The waffles are amazing. The homemade Biscuits are a home run.. The only thing we weren't fond of was the blueberry pancakes. But everything else was on point. I will definitely be back when I'm back in Toledo. This just became my new spot!

This place is our favorite place for breakfast or lunch. The food is phenomenal and the service is even bigger. Great prices, excellent food and great staff! Nick was our server this morning and he was on the point and above. Thanks for dinner!

Made from scratches, a ton of food for the price, and the nicest staff I've ever met. I had the Hot Measure, man had the fish dinner, and we shared tater dead tacos. Everything was perfectly cooked, hot and delicious.

I've been here a few times with my husband. Good service. Clean restaurant with decent food. My husband loves the homemade large northern beans with corn bread. I had the turkey plate last... was pretty tasty and satisfied my desire for comfort food.

Cosy diner with attentive staff given how small the diner is. It's QUIET here! And this is always a good thing for a casual meeting in a cozy stand over a light meal. Traditional Americana foods that meet the square and, of course, their pies are homemade and what they are best known. Large selection of Pies and a pretty good disc supplied. ?
