Ice - Toledo

Nice place in the basement of a building. Menu is good and has a little bit of something for everyone. Food was good. Service is a bit slow even though it was only maybe 60% full at the time, but not a deal breaker. Just be prepared to sit a bit longer than average.

We made a reservation for 6PM for dinner prior to a concert at the adjoining Huntington Center.We drove 75 miles so we arrived 1/2 hour early. We confirmed our reservation with the hostess, and told her we would get a drink at the bar. She said she would come and seat us at a table at 6PM. She NEVER came. I had to go back up 2 flights of stairs to the hostess stand. She then came down and tried to seat us at a Hightop table, which when we made the reservation we specifically requested NOT to be at. When we asked her to sit at one of several tables that were empty and partially set, she told us they were for reservations . We told her that we HAD reservations. She then went back up to the hostess stand and when I followed her up, she was consulting with another woman, apparently a manager, and told me they would have a table ready for us in 10 minutes or so. I went back downstairs and one of the waiters then allowed us to sit at one of the set tables and served us. The hostess NEVER came back down, although the manger did, towards the end of our meal. The food was mediocre at best..the place is more like a dive bar than a restaurant.

Great place for dinner before an event at the Huntington Center!

After a troubling afternoon, my wife I arrived, the waitress seated, bartended, and served us. She made an exceptional martini, food selections were varied, and outstanding ! Thanks again for your tremendous service !!!

We had a great time. Food nice, not too fancy. Nothing for Vegan's but they said they are updating menus. Clean and good service. Menu items very basic but my husbands black and blue filet was best I have had in a while .
