Barbarossa Coffee - Tomball

Very nice coffee shop. This was my first time. The interior was very welcoming as was the staff. The coffee was great and the staff was exceptionally friendly. Definitely would recommend especially if you are looking for an alternative to the giantchain. You will not be disappointed. Good size menu of drink option including no coffee drinks. They also had deliciouslooking snacks. If you are ever in the area give them a try you won't be disappointed.

Decor is both educational and fun to look at, coffee is great but food was disappointing ???? wide selection of food with yummy sweet treats. I would return but unimpressed with the service and for a place with such character it's sad.

Today, I had an incredible experience at this restaurant. There were some noticeable improvements since my last visit that I really appreciated. Upon entering, the first thing that catches your eye is a stunning display of desserts, sandwiches, cookies, cakes, and more. While we were admiring the selection and deciding what to try, one of the owners came over and informed us about two new cake options available for sampling. One was a coconut cake and the other was a multi-layer honey cake. Both were fantastic, but we ultimately opted for the blueberry muffin and loaf. The coffee was exceptional, and the owner even prepared a custom peach black iced tea for me, complete with fresh mint leaves. I also took home a chocolate croissant, lemon cake, and a cookie. When I enjoyed them at home, everything proved to be delightful! I really love the new enhancements, the friendly staff, and the charming seating area. We will surely be back! Oh, and we got a kick out of all the dogs going through the drive-thru, happily enjoying their pup cups. It was too cute!

I wish I could give this restaurant zero stars. The service was terrible. It took nearly an hour for our food and drinks to arrive. They also made a mistake with my drink; I ordered it hot, but they served it cold. When I returned it, it took another 20 minutes to get the correct drink. The quality of the food is not worth the $9 price tag; it felt more like a $2 meal. When my husband asked for a refill on his unsweetened tea, they wanted to charge an additional $5 for it, so we decided to leave. On a positive note, my coffee was good. Please improve your service because the nice ambiance means nothing if the service is lacking.

As someone who is still getting acquainted with coffee, I had a fantastic experience at Barbarossa. The skilled baristas took the time to ask me questions and offered a recommendation based on my preferences, making me feel comfortable and welcomed. I ordered the Vietnamese Coffee, which was absolutely outstanding, while my husband enjoyed an Iced Chai Latte that he loved. I also picked up a 2.2 lb bag of the Anchor Blend for my cold brew at home. I can't wait to return and explore more delicious flavors!
