New Chang's Gourmet - Tomball

They are definitely not recommended. We found hairs in our food, coarse hairs. Despite that, we tried to eat it but it tasted nothing like Chinese food and was overly salty. It was the worst Chinese food I have ever tasted. The rice was okay but that was the only thing we could eat. We ordered several dishes that ended up being wasted. I suggest going somewhere else as the food was absolutely terrible.

The food quality at this restaurant is good, but the customer service is lacking. Since the pandemic, the staff's customer service skills have declined. When placing a pickup order, they take the customer's number and provide a pickup time frame. However, if the customer doesn't pick up the food on time, there is no reminder given. They collect phone numbers for orders but allow them to pile up in the lobby area. When calling in, a 15-minute wait is considered reasonable.

The dining experience was exceptional. However, the staff was not very welcoming and lacked customer service skills.

The food was delicious! had the house fried rice, cheese puffs and steamed vegetables. her garlic soy sauce was perfect! manager is a little curt that can be from cleaning, but overall happy with the quality of the food.

No dine in but the food was outstanding! Best shrimp fried rice I ever had, told the pepper steak was great as well. Good job to staff
