Cathy's - Toms River

Had dinner at Cathy?s Italian restaurant Saturday night. Had Ahi tuna which was very good but the service was poor and extremely slow. After 20 minutes I had to flag down someone to open our bottle of wine. The restaurant was not crowded and there were plenty of staff wondering about in attentively. 2 hours-and 15 minutes for dinner.Food was very good but service not.The owner needs to do some training.

First time at Cathy's Ristorante. Extremely impressed. The food was delicious, the restaurant is deceiving from the outside. I couldn't believe how huge it was inside. Four large rooms and entertainment on the weekends, too. The portions were very large, I had the meatballs and ricotta with sauce for an appetizer followed by the house salad. The dressing was great. This was real good. Spinach gnocchi with fresh mutz. The gravy was really good. They also had entertainment. The guy was pretty good.

I?ve ordered cakes from the past never had a problem todAy they said they ?lost? my slip and would make a cake right away (in an hour) hit them to deliver it and this what came!! It looks like a5 year old worth this and the s is missing from congratulations!! Called twice to speak to the manager and kept saying he was busy! This was so embarrassing to serve to my family and guests!! NEVER AGAIN!!!

My family has been there many times and each time we had consistently great dishes. Both the specials and regular menu offerings keep us coming back for more. Highly recommended by my whole family!
