Food was very good, and the staff was superb. Definatly a warming resturaunt and would go back again. Only thing I could ask is that the candles actually had wax and were lit, but everything else was great.
We loved it here. Excellent food, especially the Baked Sicillian. Anything with a red sauce, and we loved the sautéed brocolirabe and spicy mussels.
New York food in Toms River. If you havent tried Jules restaurant your missing out on the gem of toms river better yet ocean county cuisine. Not only do you receive some of the biggest portions i`ve ever been server in a restaurant there is actually great quality behind the food. My first visit was skeptical because when portions are this big the food cant be that good but, IT WAS!!!!!!! and since then me and my wife have been coming back to Jules at least once a week. I dont know how the chefs do it but they are great at what they do every time same taste as the last time. I would like to see a different verity of specials but every time i go no complaints. As stated in the above review i order the antipasto myself and it is HUGE!!!!!!! jerseycityjoe definatly reccomends jules if you want at home style service and food like when you were a kid and gradma was cookin
One Word... AMAZING!!. Amazing is the perfect word to describe Jule's Itatlian Restaurant whenever my family and I come here. Coming here is like being in Jersey City's Jule's years ago. Same food, same recipes it's just simply awesome. Whenever we come here we get the Anitpasta and an order of garlic shrimp to start us off. Those 2 items alone are enough to fill a family of 5 up not even including the delicious bread and dipping oil that comes with it! The entree sizes have got to be the best part about it besides the taste of them. The portions are great for the price you pay. One entree can be split between two, depending on what you get. My favorite meal there has got to be Barbara's famous Lasanga or Chicken Murphy. Whenever I go to Jule's I am always expecting to be greeted with smiles and friendliness by all the workers and maybe even a story or two from the Owner/Chef Barbara. She does an amazing job and I could not be happier every time I go there. Make sure to top your night off with one of their deserts too :
