Melad Tandoori Indian Takeaway

We ordered a takeaway, decided to try tikka massala jalfrezi with mushroom rice. The sauce was really flavoursome with a great kick. I would definitely order again and hopefully eat in very soon. It arrived quickly and was still quite hot.

Booked on line to visit their newly opened restaurant in Barming. Easy to find. Plenty of parking. Great welcome on arrival. Very contemporary decor. Large bar area leads to a very modern restaurant. A very extensive menu that has endless opportunities to mix your curry up a bit. Old favourites to new contemporary dishes. The Rangeela selection was impressive. Authentic and full of flavour. Service was friendly and very efficient. Considering the size of the menu the timing between courses was excellent. Food tasted as good as any London restaurant. Very reasonably priced . Definitely highly recommend.

A meal with friends first time was ok when newly opened in Barming and then returned with family in June which wasn’t so great. Friendly enough but, food was not as explained on the menu. We didn’t complain as they were really busy…with deliveries apparently. So we still tried again as we are local and ordered a home delivery twice, which was delivered in good time on each order, but the amount of food in each carton was very little for what they charged. Some cartons were not even quarter full and there was very little meat in the meat dishes. So, unfortunately they have lost our custom both eat in and take away. Shame though, we were looking forward to having a nice local restaurant to visit.

Just tried the new restaurant in Maidstone. Really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Service was much improved from the previous restaurant (Taj Barming). We’ll worth a visit and staff really friendly.

Waited 2 hours for our food, called twice and was told 10 minutes each time. Didn’t receive the food and when we called up for a refund, the woman was incredibly rude and even hung up on us. Had to use another phone as they stopped answering the original phone even though we hadn’t received a refund. Took over 2 hours to receive food that didn’t even turn up, never had problems before but definitely did this time and had a lot of trouble getting refund (pending refund).
