Bidra med feedbackI had the mini Angus mignons for a starter and confit duck on pumpkin, leeks, onions and shitake mushrooms for the main.. Holy **** it was delicious
A pub-restaurant that's very popular with the locals. Good steak, great beer-battered chips but ordinary salad. The Guinness pie is worth a try. Modern pub decor with good service. Perhaps a bit pricey for the genre.
Dined here on Australia day holiday Monday and the food was fabulous. 4 meals order and each one was perfectly presented and the steak was cooked to perfection. If you want a tender piece of meat this is the place to go. A little bit overpriced but certainly worth the money.
This is a great Irish pub with an excellent pint of Guinness and a lively atmosphere! It gets quite busy on weekends with a good crowd. I haven't tried the food, so I can't comment on that.
We chose Fitzy's since it was Easterfest in Toowoomba, and it seemed like the only place in town where we could get a lunch table without a reservation. However, we ended up being seated in the bar area instead of the restaurant. Fortunately, we found a spot outside, which was pleasant and quieter. Having previously experienced an expensive dinner here, I was pleasantly surprised by the affordable and good lunch options. My parents ordered the $12 fish and chips, while my husband and I went for the Parmigiana, priced at $15. The portion was so large that I couldn't finish it; it was a generous serving and quite tasty. My parents enjoyed the fish, although the tartare sauce had a peculiar taste. On my last visit, the dining room staff were rude, but this time, the uninterested bar staff provided a better experience.
