People around the world love to fetish coffee, turning its growing, roasting, grinding and brewing into both art and science. At the end of the day, I suspect that, while coffee as hobby is rewarding for many, the point is ultimately to drink the stuff. As a former coffee fetishist, I am pleased to report that Beccuti was my 10-step program. To the maximum extent possible, I drink nothing else (although I will drink mail-ordered Quarta, the legendary coffee of Lecce, Puglia, if annoyances like COVID-19 separate me from my Beccuti), and I regularly travel over an hour in Italy to buy it, and 5 hours from France as required. As good as it is at home, there is nothing like the barista experience in the shop, and not only a shot or two...the shakerato on a hot summer day is a life-changing experience!
