Bidra med feedbackWe booked our spot a couple of hours before. This place is famous for Indian Gujarati vegetarian cuisines. The Thali is a buffet and you cannot accommodate all the food in one plate. Try not to waste food and take small servings at a time. But I bet you'll not be able to find better taste than this in Canada. The staff is amazing and their hospitality is great, though the main lady with grey hair can change her attitude a little bit.
This is an entirely women powered space. It Felt like home. They were so welcoming, sweet and always checking up on you if you need anything else. Food was amazing, worth the money and wait. Before you go, book your table on call so that you don’t have to wait.
The place is run by a Gujarati family(s) and they are very rude to their customers. They are located in Toronto but fail to realize that not everyone coming to their restaurant will be able to speak and/or understand Gujarati language. They are only less-rude; if you buy their unlimited thali as that means maximum profit… this place is an excellent case-study to understand what not to do as a business owner: arrogant ill mannered owners, disrespectful ladies on the billing counter are running the place as if they are giving free food and doing the world a favour. No customer service skills and/ or respect for the clients time who has to wait unnecessarily. I gave one star for the staff who’s making the food in their kitchen otherwise this place would have gone under long time ago. Request to customers: let’s boycott them unless they change their behaviour and act respectfully with us!
*Visited twice so far, all I can say is* No matter of which part of the world you are from. If you are staying in Toronto, must visit this restaurant,, it will remind you of your home. Gujarati ladies working there makes every kind of meals very deliciously and it will remind you, your Mother. Go for Lunch or dinner, you will served Hot Chapatis, Rice, Dal, various Sabzi(s) and none the less, sweets they are mesmerising and mouth-watering
Been to other Indian vegetarian restaurants but this one seemed not that great. Either the served items were too sweet or too salty. They served bhaji but no pav. The place is too small for the traffic they handle and you are suppose to pick your plates and put it out near the washroom, which seemed a bit odd. I have had Gujarati Thali before as well but this is just too hyped..!! Not recommend at all for $20 per person.
