Cafe Nicole & Bar - Toronto

We enjoyed our breakfast there for two days during our stay over the Thanksgiving weekend The waitress was very friendly and attentive.

Cafe Nicole is the restaurant in the Novotel near Square One.

I ordered takeout during the COVID-19 pandemic and the food was severely undercooked and inedible. The fries were extremely overcooked and the fish did not look anything like the pictures on the online menu. It seems like this restaurant relies solely on unsuspecting tourists for business. I will not be returning.

We visited Café Nicole three times this year and enjoyed it every time. The restaurant has been beautifully renovated, with comfortable chairs, impeccable service, and delicious food. They offer breakfast and lunch, and we can't wait to dine there again. Chico is hands down the best waiter ever!

We visited Cafe Nicole on a Friday night and had the option of choosing from a set menu or ordering a la carte. Despite the tempting set menu, we decided to order Trio-Dips, grilled chicken club, gnocchi, and the masala from the regular menu. All the dishes were delicious and reasonably priced. The service was friendly and quick. In addition to meat options, there were also several plant-based dishes available, ensuring that everyone in our party was satisfied with their meal. Cafe Nicole is truly a hidden gem!
