Chako - Toronto

It was the first time that I tried Korean Restaurant. We were invited There by my Nephew for my wife birthday. I liked it very much. I like cooking my foods while we were enjoying to have food. The waiter and waiters are very friendly. Hopefully, I will try it again.

Had dinner here recently. Quick courteous service, great selection of meats and veggies. Reasonable price. I love having the BBQ in front of me and eating fresh off the grill.

Nice, clean restaurant. Lots of free parking. Friendly staff, greeted right away. Booths are spacious. Good selection of meats, seafood, veggies. Very attentive staff. Really enjoy this restaurant.

We were invited here by friends for the first time months ago. Had no prior experience with Korean cuisine. I fell in love immediately. I love cooking my own food at my table while I converse with friends. Ultra tasty, terrific friendly staff and very reasonable pricing. Prepare to leave stuffed and sated. M

Good atmosphere (cleanliness/design/décor), fast service (we ordered Lunch), reasonable Lunch price (keeping in mind it's not a cheap place and it's all you can eat), efficient BBQ grills, generous portions (our party of 5 only had to ask for seconds *once*, and we had leftovers), good sized soda beverages (and refillable), the ventilation must have been very effective because my clothes did not smell overwhelmingly of BBQ when I left. You will leave feeling full, or definitely satisfied. There was a 10% tip, which is shared among the staff. The restrooms were unique - spotless, modern, attractive self-contained units usually found in high-end hotels -- you could change baby diapers, wash hands and check your appearance in privacy (one side of the hallway were "female units" and the other side were "male units"). The only small criticism was that my companions had ordered green tea ice-cream which appeared to have melted and then refrozen (tough texture). I ordered the mango ice-cream and it was just fine. Otherwise, I would recommend this restaurant. Convenient location if you are in Northeast Toronto, lots of parking.
