Bidra med feedbackThis place was my favorite until yesterday. I was looking for BBQ duck, so I took 20 minutes drive to this restaurant to get a duck. When I took it, it didn't feel right, it wasn't warm, like it used to be...cold. When I took it home and opened the wrap duck skin looked dry and it did not have the bbq duck aroma at all. It tasted as if the duck was day old or from frozen duck, it had a frozen smell, and the meat was dry. I didn't buy BBQ duck from this place for a few months now, I paid $30 for the whole duck and this time I paid something over $50 after tax. I don't care to pay this price if they keep the quality and freshness as before. I am very disappointed by the experience and will not return to this place again! It's a star for me.
We liked the management when it was called KA KA, we have all our orders with the right meat, now with new management when we ask for baby pig on rice, we get the regular roast pig
This place has always been a visit for the Chinese grill for us and many other people. it is always here, by a name changes, and eating is really great and cheap!
We pick them up for the quick choice, at least 3 times a week. Prepared foods are delicious and reliable and affordable. usual menu orders: cantonese chow my, roasted rice noodles with bark meat, spicy fried tintenfische, winzersuppe, lemon huhn.
My husband and I were disappointed by food prepared by the kitchen. For thirty years, we either bought take-out or ate in, and even got to know some of the staff fairly well. In January 2017, we took out three dishes and were disappointed even...though we believe the BBQ department is still good as before. Our three dishes: 1. Special fried rice: it had hardly any ingredients, as if half of them had been left out. Rating: C- 2. Scrambled eggs with bitter melon: only a few small pieces of melon were used, and substituted with mostly lettuce. The melon also had not been blanched and was very bitter. Rating: C 3. Fried wheat noodles with shrimps and greens: we ordered rice noodles, not wheat noodles. We wonder why the restaurant could not deliver something so simple. The dish had enough ingredients, but the wrong kind of noodles. Rating: C+ The male servers also seemed stressed out, hard-of-hearing, and dismissive. It was hard for us to leave a tip and that was even before we started eating the food at home! We wonder if someone could enlighten us as to why Wok and Roast that we have liked for thirty years has gone downhill, and what patrons can do to help. Thank you.
