Kalyvia - Toronto

Had an excellent dinner last night at Kalyvia--great service and great food!

The gyro at this restaurant is delicious and affordable.

The $25 platter only came with four tiny pieces of dry chicken. It felt like I was being robbed at gunpoint.

The pizza was incredibly soggy, the crust was flat, and the toppings were okay. The staff were also incredibly unwelcoming. I kindly asked out of curiosity about halal toppings and that’s when the customer service got really bad. I asked about Mediterranean toppings and they deliberately started listing pork toppings (which aren’t specifically Mediterranean). Other customers were treated with much more respect. If you’re not white, don’t come here especially if you’re Muslim.

Great tasting food and service! Our server was very amazing and you can tell she cares about their diners! The food options are great and portions were good too! Bonus, lots of good vegetarian items on the menu
