Carl's Jr. - Torrance

I decided to give this restaurant a 5-star rating primarily because of the woman who took our order. She was incredibly kind and attentive, going above and beyond what one might expect given the pay she and her coworkers receive. It's important to ensure that employees are compensated fairly for their hard work! I'm sure the owner(s) could manage just fine without that fourth luxury vehicle or third vacation home.

The service was pleasant and the restaurant was clean. The food was typical for Carl's Jr. but appeared to be fresh. Additionally, the complimentary Wi-Fi at this location is a great perk.

The restaurant offers a great experience if you enjoy reheated food. I worked there, and while the staff itself is nice, the treatment of employees is concerning. They paid below minimum wage throughout the pandemic and would even let people go for eating a single fry without paying. This really reflects how much this supposedly fantastic restaurant values its employees!
