Bidra med feedbackWe come here often, and we always have a great time. The conveyor belt style is fun, and you can order items freshly made via the iPad at each table. The staff are great, very friendly. And there's always enough parking. Wait times are usually long, because it's so popular, so be sure to arrive early
If I could give no stars... I WOULD! This used to be my favorite Kura location.... And most convenient sushi spot around. But ever since they changed the app and the wait list system it seems like the wait list is longer than ever and extra confusing. The girls at the front door aren't always the nicest. I was told by one that she checked me in and then an hour later another lady came out to ask my name and then told me she was going to check me in. We got a text saying our table was almost ready and still waited another 30 minutes outside. We had a party of 2, and there were several counter top seats available. We watched bigger parties get seated and the counter top stay open for at least 20 minutes. We were the last ones to get seated from the group of people that were already standing there when we arrived and then watched 5-7 more groups get seated who arrived after us. Seemed intentional and unwelcoming. Sadly I don't think we'll be coming back to this location.
This is the most disappointing Kura location I have visited. The staff member by the name of Martha was in charged of calling the names from the list and she did a poor job. We found it strange that she would ask folks their names instead of just calling out the names from the list. We added our name at 6:36pm and weren't seated until 7:25pm when the wait time was around 30-40 minutes. It felt like Martha did not have a clear system on who to call out next. She just called a name she deemed fit. I have never experienced this at a Kura. There were so many other guests that were confused as to why they were being passed up by folks that just got there and entered their name. We were seated by the door and could hear other guests asking about their place in line. Martha even told a guest that the folks in front of them waited 2 hours. Someone waited 2 hours?! Then why weren't they seated before us? We were there for an hour. The conveyor belt was dirty, our table wasn't wiped down. There were finger prints on the plates that I ordered start from the kitchen. Not all Kuras are made equal, I'm definitely staying away from this location. P.S. This is the only location where I did not receive a text saying that my table was ready! We had to keep asking what place we were in line.
Still pretty fun and a quick bite to eat. I just wanted to update on the favorites: Salmon skin roll (hand or cut) Dashi Olive Shrimp Umami oil Salmon Salmon Toro Sea Bream with Yuzu Yellow tail Seared Salmon (either one) Texas Roll You can check out on app and get rewards. Quick and easy .
This is a really fun place to visit and the sushi is very delicious. However, my biggest complaint is with the waitlist system that they have. Kura does have an app to enlist yourself on their waitlist, but it's not reliable at all. If you're using the waitlist, add another 30-45 minutes to that time. The restaurant is cute and I love the promotions it has but it's very small and the employees just give the tables a quick sloppy wipe down (which is understandable because of the long waits, but still). Overall, I would say avoid the weekend crowds and come on a weekday instead if possible.
