Bidra med feedbackWOULD YOU EAT THAT?Sooo I this was my third attempt to go to the Robeks in Torrance . It says they are open at 7:00am , twice I waited till 7:20 and still not open . Today I waited till 7:11am and finally someone came and opened , I was the first and only one in the store . I ordered a smoothie and strawberries cream toast . And that does no look like what I ordered. And would not eat it even if I settled. How did I get old avocado and soggy toast if they literally just opened 2 min ago and I was the first instore order. It looks old just looking at the avocado. I’m not a complainer but would you serve that to your friends or family ? The service in this store is very angsty and or careless. I not sure if I would come back to be honest.
I order from here several times a week. Lately my orders have been wrong. I've never left a review. For some reason the evening crew doesn't know how to make the smoothies. I order the same thing, so I actually notice when it is made wrong. I've called and explained it but still is wrong. What had changed there. It's too the point where it doesn't feel worth it to order at all let alone 5x a week
Super love this place... went back 4 times during my 3 week vacay??? will definitely miss it! Yum
I have been coming here for years and let me tell you, this is our favorite açaí and smoothie place! The staff here are awesome and always so kind! Love the convenience of ordering w their app and then you just pick up in the fridge! Have tried many other açaí places and always end up coming back for more!
I frequent the Robek's at the Long Beach Traffic Circle from time to time, but when I found myself in Torrance one day, that's when I decided to give this location a try. This Robek's is located on the northern corner of PCH and Crenshaw. At the time of my visit, there was a promo going on where if you spend $10+ pretax, then you can get 30 bonus points. Since a handful of smoothies were more than $10 at the Traffic Circle location, I didn't think it would be a problem to make an order that was $10+, but man was I so wrong! When I arrived, two girls were running the shop, and I took a look at the menu. The most expensive smoothie I saw was $9.99, just one penny short of the $10 needed to earn the 30 bonus points! That totally threw me off, but I did notice the boosts and enhancements, each of which is a $1 upcharge. I was expecting at least one smoothie to be $10.99, but since there wasn't, I had to study the menu even more. I saw that their Large Classic Smoothies were $8.59, so instead of going for a $9.99 smoothie with one boost/enhancement, I went with a Large Classic Smoothie with two boosts/enhancements. The boosts and enhancements only had names, but didn't have a description of what they meant. Like Heart Healthy. Obviously, I know what that means, but in terms of the smoothie, how does that boost even work? I asked that question to one of the girls, and she went to the other side of the shop to get me a brochure that explained the boosts and enhancements in more detail. I wanted to get one boost and one enhancement, but my mind was just spent after working long hours this past week. After some deliberation, I decided to go for the Robek's Energy boost and the Goji Berries enhancement. For the Classic Smoothie, I went with the South Pacific Squeeze since I don't believe I've had it before, and I wondered what South Pacific tasted like. I will admit it took me a long time to decide how to customize my order so I could spend over $10 and get the bonus points, but when I placed my order, they actually laughed! I think it was because instead of saying the smoothie name first, I said the boost and enhancement first? However, is that really a good reason to laugh? I don't think so, and I didn't appreciate it as I thought they were trying to ridicule me for reciting my order out of order. Not what I needed after working long hours for 6 days straight : I told the cashier that I was intending to spend over $10 to get the bonus points, even showing that email in the process. When the cashier rang me up for the boost and enhancement, the upcharge was only $1 instead of $2, so my subtotal was less than $10. I had enough points on my account to redeem a reward, and she asked if I wanted to redeem one. No because if I did, then my subtotal would then be less than $10. I honestly felt like she was trying to make it so that I wouldn't get those bonus points, but luckily, I noticed the order tablet before paying. That tablet also froze before I paid, so I had to wait a little longer for it to reset and for the cashier to input my order. The wait for my smoothie wasn't long. Maybe two minutes? That was quite nice, but I thought the smoothie could have been better. A South Pacific Squeeze smoothie consists of pineapple, strawberries, banana, pineapple sherbet, and orange juice. It's a pretty interesting combo that I thought would taste outstanding, but it wasn't as outstanding. Don't get me wrong, it was still a fine smoothie, but the overall flavor didn't come out as strong compared to other smoothies I've had in Long Beach. However, getting ridiculed and laughed at by both of the girls really ruined my visit. I don't think they appreciated my patronage, and given that this location is super far from me, I have zero plans to return. It's probably not a bad place to go to if you live nearby and aren't as exhausted as I was that day, but for me, it's a one and done, at least for the Torrance location. Hopefully, when I ret
